Terms and Conditions
Last updated: June 09, 2026
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Voiceup's website, software, APIs, and related subscription services ("Services"). Voiceup is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform for AI text-to-speech, speech-to-text, and related audio productivity tools. By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our Services.
1. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use the Services. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
2. License and Acceptable Use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Services for lawful personal or internal business purposes as permitted by your subscription plan. You agree NOT to:
- Use the Services for any unlawful, deceptive, or harmful purpose.
- Attempt voice cloning, impersonation, deepfake audio, celebrity voice replication, or unauthorized likeness generation.
- Generate content that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other third-party rights.
- Upload or generate NSFW, abusive, threatening, or misleading content.
- Misrepresent generated audio as a recording made by a real person when doing so would be deceptive.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from our software.
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Services without our permission.
This service is designed for lawful, responsible use. We do not support voice cloning, impersonation, deepfake audio, celebrity voice replication, NSFW content, or content that infringes third-party rights.
3. Voice Features and Prohibited Uses
Voiceup provides text-to-speech using licensed synthetic voices made available in the platform. Voice cloning, impersonation, and replication of identifiable real persons, celebrities, or copyrighted or trademarked voices are not permitted. You are responsible for ensuring your input text and generated output comply with applicable law and third-party rights.
4. Your Content and AI Output
You retain ownership of the text you submit and the audio generated through our Services, subject to these Terms and applicable law. You grant us a license to process and host your content solely to provide the Services. You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights to any content you upload or generate.
AI-generated output may vary in quality and suitability. Results are not guaranteed to be accurate, natural, or fit for every purpose.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
Some features require a paid subscription billed in advance on a recurring basis or on a usage basis, depending on your plan. Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers, including Polar or other processors we designate. By subscribing, you authorize us and our payment partners to charge applicable fees.
Fees are generally non-refundable except as required by law or as stated in our Refund Policy. You may cancel your subscription according to your account settings; cancellation stops future billing but does not automatically entitle you to a refund for the current billing period unless required by law or our Refund Policy.
We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.
6. AI Limitations and Disclaimers
Our Services use artificial intelligence. While we strive for high quality, we do not guarantee that outputs will always be accurate, natural, or fit for a specific purpose. The Services are provided "as is" and "as available."
7. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraud or abuse, or used the platform in a way that creates legal or reputational risk.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Voiceup and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use or inability to use the Services.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of our operating jurisdiction. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
