Thank you for choosing Voiceup. Voiceup is a subscription-based digital software service that provides AI text-to-speech, speech-to-text, and related audio tools. Please read this policy carefully before purchasing a paid plan.
1. General Refund Policy
We offer both free and paid plans. We encourage users to evaluate the free plan before upgrading. Unless required by law or expressly stated below, fees paid for digital software access are non-refundable once a billing period has started.
2. Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard or by contacting support. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund the current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until the end of the period already paid for, unless your account is terminated for policy violations.
3. Subscription Refunds
Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. We do not provide refunds or credits for partial subscription periods or unused usage within an active billing period, except where required by law or approved under the exceptions below.
4. Usage-Based Credits
Credits purchased for specific services are non-refundable once added to your account. Credits have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for currency.
5. Payment Processing
Payments may be processed by third-party providers, including Polar or other designated processors. Refund eligibility and timing may also depend on the processor's rules and your payment method.
6. Exceptions
We may consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis in the following circumstances:
- Technical Issues: If a technical error on our part prevented you from accessing paid features and we cannot resolve it within a reasonable timeframe.
- Duplicate Billing: If you were accidentally charged twice for the same subscription or product.
- Legal Requirements: If the law in your jurisdiction requires a refund, such as applicable cooling-off periods.
Approval of an exception refund is not guaranteed.
7. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, contact support@voiceups.com within 14 days of the transaction. Include your account email, transaction date, and reason for the request. We aim to respond within 5–7 business days.
8. Policy Changes
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
